Alloys made for specific applications show higher mechanical properties which are meant for special applications.
Nickel makes it easier to wet, improves corrosion resistance and mechanical properties on stainless steel, tools steel, tungsten carbides, nickel and nickel alloys.
Manganese improves joints ductility and mechanical impact resistance(tenacity).
Copper-free alloys are resistant to ammonia.
Zinc-free alloys are recommended for furnace brazing.
Indium-bearing alloys are suitable for post surface treatments.
Maximum impurity limits applicable to all types are in accordance with IS0 17672: 2016 (F)
